When moving to Germany, registering your address (Anmeldung) is a crucial step. To get started, secure accommodation and ensure you have a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung from your landlord. Then, complete the Anmeldeformular and gather necessary documents like your ID or passport. Book an appointment at your local Bürgeramt (appointments are usually required).
